Description
Westbrook Cottage is a 17th and 18th century cottage located on Church Street in Micheldever. It features a timber-frame construction with plaster infill, a rebuilt brick ground floor, and a tile-hung rear wing. The cottage has a thatched roof and is L-shaped, consisting of a single bay with outshots at each end and an additional wing added to the right at the rear. The building is two storeys high, with a door set in a 20th century brick and thatch porch at the inner end of the left outshot. The front bay has a three-light casement window, with a two-light casement window above it, positioned between the uprights of the frame. There are also small single casement windows on either side at an intermediate level. The roof is hipped and sweeps down at each end.
