Description

The pound at the junction with Chapel Road is a structure from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It features a circular wall made of red brick, with a cement-rendered plinth and brick copings, standing approximately 1.5 meters high. There is a wooden gate from the mid-20th century. Circular pounds are uncommon, with another example located at Blundeston near Lowestoft.
