Description

HALL STREET 1. 5377 (East Side) Long Melford Church House, Mill Ford House and West Lynn TL 8645 21/485 II GV

  1. A range of early C19 houses fronted in white brick. 2 storeys. 6 window range (arranged 3:2:1 and separated by pilasters), double-hung sashes with glazing bars, in plain reveals, with stucco cornice lintels on stub brackets. Church House has a good Greek Doric doorcase with fluted half columns, triglyph frieze and cornice. The others have moulded architraves, frieze and cornice. Roof slate, hipped, with a wide overhanging eaves. At the rear there is a large square chimney stack.
