Description

Cleeve Cottage is a timber-framed and plastered house located on Hall Street in Long Melford, featuring external characteristics from the 18th and 19th centuries. The building stands two storeys high and has a three-window range with double-hung sash windows that include glazing bars. The ground floor windows are adorned with square hood moulds. At the north end, there is a six-panel door with a plain surround and a garage entrance. The roof is tiled and has an original chimney stack at the south end, which features two octagonal shafts on the remains of a square base.
