Description

Melford House is a mid-19th century brick house, originally faced with stucco and featuring rusticated quoins. It is two storeys high with a three-window front. The windows are double-hung sashes with single vertical glazing bars set in plain reveals, with painted lintels and sills. The ground floor windows are three-light sashes with narrow side lights. A 20th-century garage door is located at the south end, likely replacing a former carriage entrance, with a loft doorway positioned above. The central entrance features a six-panel door framed by pilasters and topped with a cornice. The roof is slate and hipped to the south.
