Description
Bells House and Village Stores is a 17th-century timber-framed house that is now mostly covered in red brick. The southern section is faced in modern brick, while the northern section features 18th-century red brick with blue brick headers and a raised brick band running across the front. The building has a 2:4 window arrangement, with double-hung sash windows in plain reveals on the southern part and 20th-century casements on the northern part. The ground floor includes a small 19th-century shop front with segmental arched lights. The roof is hipped and tiled, and there is a wing extending to the west at the north end.
