Description

Primrose Cottage is an early 19th-century house located on Hall Street in Long Melford. This two-storey building features a timber frame and is weatherboarded. It has a two-window range with 20th-century mullioned and transomed casements that include leaded lights, with two and three lights in each window. The entrance is marked by a 20th-century glazed door that is adorned with a moulded architrave, a frieze decorated with fret ornamentation, and a cornice. The roof is covered with slate.
