Ford End is a late 18th century or early 19th century front added to an earlier timber-framed and plastered house located on Hall Street in Long Melford. The building has two storeys and features a two-window range with double-hung sashes that include glazing bars. There is a modern doorway topped with a pedimented hood, and the roof is tiled.
