Description

Church House is a pair of early 19th-century houses with 20th-century alterations, located in Prestbury. The houses are built of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a chamfered stone plinth. They have a Kerridge stone-slate roof and a stone ridge. Two brick chimneys are present. The front has five bays and two-and-a-half storeys. The windows are 12-pane sashes with cambered brick heads; two windows have stone key blocks and stone sills. Two 20th-century doorcases feature triangular pediments. The door to Church House has six moulded panels with lozenge-shaped fields, while the door to Ravenstone has four panels. The half-storey contains three 9-pane windows and a 6-pane sash, with two windows on the left side having simple iron balconies. The building is listed for group value only.
