Description

The sundial in St. Peter's Churchyard is believed to date from 1672. It is made of buff sandstone and features three circular steps that support a heavy gadrooned baluster. At the top, there is an octagonal copper plate that has an engraving of good quality, although it is becoming worn. The sundial also includes a pierced scrolled gnomon.
