Description
The Stocks is a structure likely dating from the early 19th century, although it was returned to its original site in 1938. It is made of buff sandstone in ashlar style. The structure features two rectangular piers with shaped tops, each having a slot in their lower half. Within this slot is a restored heavy split wooden plank that has four holes. The piers are connected by a steel bar.
