Description

This is a small late 19th-century white brick building located on Hall Street in Long Melford, currently occupied by C J N Row and Sons. The building features a pedimented gable on the front and stands two storeys tall. The ground storey has two windows and a central doorway, while the first storey is highlighted by an oriel window. Above the ground storey windows, there is a stone frieze and cornice adorned with scrolls. The gable is plastered and includes a modillion pediment with a recessed semi-circular window. To the south, there is a large unfenestrated building with a tiled roof. At the southern end, a gateway is present, featuring brick piers with stone moulded caps and ball finials. This building is included for its group value with the adjacent structures.
