Description

St Mary's is a 16th to 17th century timber-framed and plastered house that was refronted in the 18th century. It has two storeys. The north side features two canted bays that rise through both storeys, along with a central six-panel door that has a moulded architrave, an ornamented frieze, and a cornice. The south side displays irregular window arrangements, which include both double-hung sashes and casements. On the ground storey, there is a small 18th-century bay that may have originally served as a shop window. The roof is tiled, hipped at the north end, and there is an original chimney stack at the south end, which has three octagonal shafts.
