Description

The Manse is an 18th century timber-framed and plastered house located on Hall Street in Long Melford. It stands two storeys high and features a three-window range on both the east and south fronts, with double-hung sash windows that have single vertical glazing bars. The ground storey windows are adorned with cornices. A central porch projects from the east front, while there is a central doorway on the south front. The roof is tiled, hipped, and steeply pitched, featuring a central chimney stack and one hipped dormer on the north side. Additionally, there is a coved plaster eaves cornice.
