Description

The Laurels is a large house built in the late 19th century, constructed from white brick with stone rusticated quoins. It stands two storeys high and features a three-window range on its west, north, and south fronts. The windows are double-hung sashes without glazing bars. On the ground storey, there are two three-light windows with smaller sidelights, supported by piers with stone capitals and a cornice. At the north end, there is a canted bay. The entrance has a shell hood above the doorway. The roof is hipped and tiled. At the rear, the house features a large open arcaded cupola topped with a pyramid roof.
