Description

This barn, located approximately 50 metres east of Hill Farmhouse, dates from the 18th to 19th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weatherboarded, topped with a grey slate roof. The barn features five bays and has a midstrey facing west, with a two-bay cartlodge to the left of the midstrey. A gutter runs from the roof of the outshut into a purpose-built red brick water trough, which has a black brick capping. The roof is supported by side purlins.
