Description

The structure is a garden wall from the early 19th century, made of gault brick with rounded coping. It consists of three bays, each curving inward to a gateway flanked by pilasters. These pilasters feature stone ball finials. The gates are made up of four panels with eight rails, supported by upper and lower brackets that curve to a central moulded boss, with simple scroll work on the top rail. This wall and gates are included for their group value, as they enclose the garden to the north of Wenham Grange.
