Description

The structure consists of a garden wall and two sets of gate piers located in front of Number 43. It dates from the mid-19th century and is made of dressed sandstone. There is an off-centre pair of gate piers that feature flattened ogee caps. To the left, there is a short low wall with chamfered coping, while a similar wall to the right has a central quadrant-plan section that connects to two similar gate piers. A tall rubble return wall on the left is not considered of special interest. This structure is included for its group value.
