Description

39 Church View is a house dating from the early 19th century, with some alterations. It is constructed of coursed rubble and has a pantiled roof, along with rebuilt brick chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and has four bays. Originally, it consisted of a house with a one-bay cottage on the left. The ends and junction feature roughly-shaped quoins. The door in the third bay has been replaced, as have the six-pane sash windows, which have tooled-and-margined lintels and projecting sills. The roof is high-pitched and has end and ridge stacks. A late 20th-century glazed porch on the third bay is not considered of special interest. The property is included for its group value.
