Description

The garden screen wall located north-east of Heighington Hall is likely from the early 19th century. It features a stone plinth and coping, constructed from hand-made brick in an irregular English garden wall bond. The wall is approximately 20 meters long and has a tall, flat-coped design, although it is partly broken down on the left side. Flanking the center are a pair of tall and wide pointed arches, which have taller embattled sections at the top. There is also a low pointed-arched doorway on the right.
