Description

Manor Farmhouse is a house dating from the 16th century or earlier, with subsequent alterations and additions. The house is timber-framed and plastered, with red plain tiled roofs. It has a ā€œLā€ shaped footprint, featuring a two-story front range and a single-story, attic rear range. A red brick chimney stack is shared by both the front and rear ranges, with an external stack to the rear. The front range has three first-floor and two ground-floor windows with centre transoms, along with a reproduction plank and muntin door set within a simple surround. Interior features include an inserted ceiling, a moulded ceiling with bridging joists, flat section ceiling beams, and an inglenook fireplace with a mantel beam above.
