Description
Wenham Lodge is a house that has been converted into two dwellings. It features an early 19th century red brick facade, which may have origins from the 17th century, and is topped with a red plain tiled roof. The building is two storeys high and has an off-centre red brick chimney stack. The front has a three-window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes, each adorned with scalloped pelmets. There is a central recessed porch that has a moulded surround, frieze, and flat canopy, with a panelled door on the left and right returns, which now serve as the entrances to the two cottages. Inside, the property includes stop-chamfered and boxed in bridging joists, shutters on some windows, and a moulded fire surround with corner patera. There is also a rear wing that dates from the 19th or 20th century.
