Description

Walnut Thatch is a house dating from the 16th century. It features an exposed timber frame at the front, with plastered returns and a red plain tiled roof. There are external red brick chimney stacks on the left and off centre to the right. The building has two storeys, with a single-storey extension on the right. It has a three-window range of 20th-century small paned casements. There is a 20th-century gabled porch with a reproduction door, and to the right of the porch is an original blocked segmental headed doorway.
