Description
Wenham Grange is an early 19th-century house constructed of gault brick, featuring a hipped grey slate roof and chimney stacks on both the right and left sides. The building has two storeys and an eaves cornice, with panelled angle pilasters. It has a three-window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes, which are adorned with stuccoed lintels; the first-floor windows have console brackets. A four-step approach leads to a central porch, which is supported by circular outer columns and pilasters with capitals and bases. The porch features a dentilled flat canopy, with triglyphs and metopes on the frieze. The entrance includes a six-panel door with a fanlight above. At the rear left of the house, there is a single-storey stable block made of similar materials, which extends to the road and has a hipped roof. The stable block's doorway lintels are similar to those of the windows.
