Description

Brook Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 17th century or earlier, with alterations and additions from the 18th century and later. The building is part timber framed and part red brick, with the front covered in plastered asbestos due to damage from the Second World War. It features a hipped roof covered with red plain tiles and has two gabled ranges at the rear. There is a right chimneystack and two additional stacks at the back. The house is two storeys tall and has a three-window range of vertically-sliding sashes with glazing bars. A central gabled porch leads to the doorway, which has a flutted surround.
