Description

Hyams House is a cottage that dates from the 17th century or earlier, with later alterations and additions. It features a timber-framed and plastered structure topped with a red plain tiled roof. The building has an off-centre left red brick chimneystack with plastered panels. It is one storey high with attics and includes two gabled dormers. The front has three small paned casements and an off-centre left board door with a simple surround, along with a similar door on the right return. Inside, there is an inglenook fireplace and chamfered bridging joists.
