Description
Onchor's Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 17th century or earlier, with an 18th-century facade and other alterations. It is timber framed and has panel pargetting, with red plain tiled roofs. The roof at the rear is half hipped to the right. There are central red brick chimney stacks on both the front and rear ranges. The front range has two storeys, while the rear wing has one storey and attics. The front features a three-window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes, along with a central two-panel, two-light door that is flanked by fluted pilasters and topped with a pediment. The rear wing includes one gabled dormer and two windows of various 19th-century casements. There is a 20th-century lean-to porch on the left side of this wing, and a pump is attached to the right wall.
