Description

Lee Wick Farmhouse is a house dating from the 16th century or earlier, with an 18th-century range and later alterations and additions. The front of the house is an 18th-century red brick construction. It features a red plain tiled gambrel roof with three flat-headed dormers and red brick chimney stacks. The house is two storeys and attics, with a three-window facade of small-paned vertically sliding sash windows. The central entrance has a two-panel, four-light door, accompanied by a fanlight with glazing bars, a fluted pilasters frieze and a flat canopy. A gabled stair turret is located at the rear. The rear left wing is the original one-storey and attic section, featuring a gabled dormer and a 20th-century casement gabled porch. Despite decorative alterations, this wing retains a heavy timber frame and in-situ mullion windows. A forward range extends from this wing, and a further range is attached to the rear right of the 18th-century building.
