2/133 West Lodge. Saling Grove and attached iron railings and gate

GV II

Lodge cottage. C18/C19. Gault brick. Grey slate roof, hipped to left, outshot to right. Dentilled eaves cornice. Single storey. 2:1 window range of vertically sliding sashes with stone cills and gauged brick arches, plain to right outshot. Board door to left return with gauged brick arch. No chimney stack visible from road. Attached cast iron railings curve towards and attach to the entrance gates q.v. 2/134 approx. 1 metre high of double railings forming panels between which are foliate stems with fleur de lis heads in top panels, continual curvelinear base and top rails, the gate with finials of similar design.
