Description
Clay Street Farmhouse is a house with origins dating back to the 17th century or earlier, featuring alterations and additions from the 18th century and later. The building is timber framed and has a plastered brick facing from the 18th or 19th century. It has red plain tiled roofs arranged in a double range and stands two storeys tall. The facade includes a three-window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes, and there is a central round-headed doorway with a 20th-century door. Inside, you can see stop-chamfered bridging joists and square section chamfered ceiling beams.
