Description

Walkers Farmhouse is a cottage dating from the late 17th century. It has a timber frame with a later gault brick facade and weatherboarded returns. The house features left external and right end chimney stacks, topped with a red plain tiled gambrel roof. It is one storey with attics and includes two grey slate catslide dormers. The windows are two-light casements with glazing bars, and there are two small paned vertically sliding sashes on the ground floor. The central door is vertically boarded and has a simple surround. The farmhouse has group value with the nearby barn and Bluehouse Farmhouse and cottage.
