Description

Gage's Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century to the early 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a red plain tiled gambrel roof that features two catslide dormers. The cottage has one storey and attics, with a two-window range of small paned casements. The central entrance consists of a vertically boarded door with a top light above it. To the left, there is a single storey extension with a red pantiled roof. The original external red brick chimney stack has been incorporated into the design.
