Description

Plough Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century to the early 18th century. It is timber framed and covered with parget plaster. The roof is made of grey slate and features projecting eaves. The cottage has two storeys and a two-window range of small paned sliding sash windows, with pentice boards above the ground floor windows. There is a centrally located vertically boarded door with a gabled canopy above it. Red brick chimneys are positioned on both the right and left sides of the cottage.
