Description

"Pannells" is a cottage that dates from the 15th century or earlier, with alterations made in the 16th and 17th centuries. It is constructed from timber framing and plaster, topped with a hipped thatched roof. The building has one storey and attics, featuring a three-window range with three gabled dormers, each containing square leaded casements. To the right, there is a four-panel door beneath a gable and trellis porch. The cottage has red brick chimney stacks located to the left and off-centre to the right. It is reputed to be a 15th-century hall house with a crown post roof.
