Description

Wayside Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century, with alterations made in the late 19th century. It features a timber frame that is roughcast rendered, with a combination of thatched and pantiled roofs. There is a red brick chimney stack on the right side and a gault brick external stack on the left gable. The cottage has one storey and an attic, with a gable end outshut to the east. The entrance includes a flush-panelled door set in a wooden frame. There are two casement windows and one four-paned window, along with a gabled dormer window.
