Description

North Brook End House is an early to mid-19th century house located on Flecks Lane, Steeple Morden. It is constructed of timber framing with roughcast and painted brick, and has slated roofs. The house presents a symmetrical facade with two ridge stacks, each having three shafts. The building has a double pile plan with a gable roof to the south elevation. The entrance is positioned to the left of centre and features a six-panelled door and a rectangular fanlight. The garden elevation has three casement windows and four first-floor flush-framed sash windows, each with sixteen panes. A veranda extends to the south and west sides, featuring a tented roof of corrugated iron supported by twisted cast iron posts adorned with a patterned frieze and spandrels.
