Description

Thorney House is an early 19th-century house in Kingsbury Episcopi. It is constructed of brick with a slate roof, featuring coped verges and brick stacks. The house presents a symmetrical facade with two storeys and an attic, arranged over three bays. It has sash windows with glazing bars. A central door opening is accessed via a cast-iron trellis porch with a panelled floor and transomlight. A lower, single-storey wing extends to the left, incorporating casement windows with glazing bars. A semi-circular head window is located in the attic of the right return.
