Description

Valley Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century, with alterations and renovations from the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed from timber framing and roughcast rendering, with a painted brick casing. The farmhouse features a red brick end stack on the right side and has plain tiled roofs. It stands two storeys high with an attic and includes rear outshuts, one of which was a former sunken dairy. The original layout was a two-unit lobby entry plan, but the central stack was demolished around 1980. The building has a glazed door, two casement windows on the ground floor, and three casement windows on the first floor. Inside, there are chamfered and boxed ceiling beams, and the stairs to the first floor are located behind the former stack.
