Description

Cockshot Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It features a timber-frame construction with rendered infill and a plain tile roof. There is a brick stack with a detached shaft and an oven located at the left gable. The cottage is one and a half storeys high, with attics that are lit by two 19th-century gabled dormers. Below, there are three 19th-century casement windows. To the right, there is a 20th-century extension that contains the entrance. The framing consists of three structural bays, with rectangular panels that are three high to the wall-plate.
