Description
This is a former threshing barn dating to the 17th century, located approximately 40 metres west of Bergh Apton Hall. The barn is timber framed and clad in weatherboards, with a steeply-pitched gabled roof covered in corrugated asbestos sheeting. It is a three-bay barn with a T-shaped plan. A large double-door waggon entrance is situated on the west side. The east side features a centrally placed gabled outshut. The interior contains tie beams with arch braces, and a butt-purlin roof. The building is included on the heritage list for its group value.
