Description

Dairy Farm Barn is a barn dating from around 1500 and later. It features a five-bay timber frame that is partly weather-boarded and partly rendered, topped with a thatched roof. There are some 20th-century brick repairs present. The barn includes one cart entrance with a later midstrey opposite, as well as later lean-tos. The roof is half-hipped and has a double queen post structure with cambered arch-braced ties and collars. The queen posts are jowled and have three-way bracing, and the purlins are clasped and of triangular section.
