Description

The Lodge is a small dwelling built around 1790, likely associated with Sir John Soane. It is constructed of gault brick and features a slate roof. The building has a T-shaped plan and is a single storey. A pedimented jetty is supported by two Ionic columns. The window and door openings are semicircular headed, and the windows include glazing bars. The roof has a shallow hipped design with projecting eaves, and there is an axial stack. A 20th-century extension has been added to the rear.
