Description
Nos 7, 8 and 9 Shipps Close are probably from the 17th or 18th century. The ground floor is made of painted brick, while the first floor is plastered. The building has a steeply-pitched pantile roof with gabled ends and is two storeys tall with an attic. It features three widely-spaced windows, including sashes with glazing bars and a three-light wood mullion/transom casement on the right side of the ground floor. There are also two panelled doors set in moulded doorcases. Additionally, there is a wedge-shaped dormer with a modern flat roof.
