Description

Nos 63 and 65 Souttergate are probably of late 17th-century origin, although the visible architectural details suggest an 18th-century appearance. The building is constructed of roughcast brick with a pitched pantile roof and a tumbled gable. It is two storeys high and has a plinth. Three ranges of cased sash windows retain their glazing bars, although other windows have been blocked. One door has four fielded panels within a wooden frame, featuring pilasters with sunk panels, a moulded transom, and a pent roof. A second door has six fielded panels and an oblong fanlight set within a moulded wooden frame.
