Description

No. 59 Souttergate has a mid-19th century front, rendered with a pitched slate roof. It is two storeys high and features three ranges of sash windows; the ground floor windows have channelled stucco voussoirs. The front door has six fielded panels and an oblong fanlight, set within a wooden frame with Tuscan pilasters and a modillioned entablature.

At the rear is an 18th century wing constructed of brown brick, with a pitched pantile roof and a tumbled gable. This wing also has two storeys and three ranges of cased sash windows with glazing bars. A door with four fielded panels and an oblong fanlight provides access. A one-storey extension to the west is built of brown brick and has a pitched pantile roof.
