Description
The Delft House is a 19th-century long brick building located in Old Market Place, Harleston, with its end facing the road. The building features a stuccoed end with a Dutch gable and comprises two storeys and an attic. It has two windows; the first-floor and attic windows are sashes without glazing bars and have cambered dripmoulds above them. The ground floor includes a central doorway with a pediment and a panelled and glazed door. To the right of the doorway is a small 18th or 19th-century canted shop window with glazing bars, and to the left is another sash window without glazing bars. The roof is steeply pitched and covered with pantiles. The side wall, which corresponds to Nos 2 and 4 Briar Walk, is faced in yellow brick and features casement windows and panelled doors.
