Description

Number 14 in Old Market Place is a 17th-century building with a timber frame and a plastered front. It features a gable-ended roof covered with black glazed pantiles. The right end of the building is slightly lower and set back from the main structure. The building has two storeys and an attic. On the left side of the first floor, there are two cambered head sash windows without glazing bars, and there is a modern dormer. The right side of the first floor has no windows. The entire ground floor is occupied by a large projecting early 20th-century shop that has splayed ends, a cornice, and a blind case.
