Description

Nos 20, 22, and 24 in Old Market Place are 17th century timber-framed buildings that were encased in red brick around 1913. They feature a steeply pitched black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends and stand two storeys tall. The facade has three windows, which include two-light moulded brick mullion and transom windows, although the windows at No 20 are modern top-opening-light types. There are three doorways, each with rectangular fanlights above them, and three dormers with cambered heads. Inside, the buildings have stop-chamfered beams.
