The exterior features a roughcast front and a steep black glazed pantile roof with gable ends. The house has two storeys and an attic, with four windows on the first floor and six ground floor windows, all of which are sash windows with glazing bars.
On the right side, there is a prominent Doric doorcase with fluted pilasters and an entablature that includes triglyphs. It has a moulded architrave, a rectangular fanlight with bars, and wide panelled double doors. The left-hand doorcase has a moulded architrave and cornice, a rectangular fanlight, and a fielded panel door with reveals. There are also three modern flat-roofed dormers with casements that have glazing bars.
