Description

Ilford Cottage is a mid-19th century building located on the west side of Old Market Place in Harleston. It is constructed of grey brick and features a slate roof with gabled ends and overhanging eaves. The cottage is two storeys high and has three sash windows with glazing bars set in exposed cases, each topped with a stone lintel that has vermiculated keystones. The central doorway is adorned with a cornice supported by console brackets, and it includes a rectangular fanlight above a panelled door. This building is included for its group value.
